This...should be interesting.
I've never had a blog before, but hopefully all will be well and the world won't end when I post.
So, perhaps I should tell you a bit about myself and the life I live to start out with. Sounds good to me.
Well, I'm 21 years old. I live in southern Texas with my totally awesome husband, two giant St. Bernard dogs, my little brother in law that rents from us, and five cats. Two of which are mine, and three of which are my brother in laws. We also share the house with various foster puppies from the shelter from time to time.
I'm currently thirty weeks pregnant with my husband and I's first child, a little girl. We call her Cubby as a nick name, and so that's how I will refer to her on here.
We're still trying to fix up this old house we were given by my husband's parents, and are currently looking for a new car as well, but things are slowly getting better as time passes. I have a very strong christian faith, and believe that everything happens for a reason, even if we can't fathom what that reason is. I also know things will improve eventually if we work at it.
This blog will entail our adventures in life, parenting, cloth diapering, dog showing, and my doing rescue work for the animal shelter. You may even get some crazy posts about our family's random "Let's go bug our friend A and make brownies at his house while we all play the Arkham horror board game like the nerds we are" nights. We are also adamant anime fans and we all play World of Warcraft. In short, total nerds...
But we're fun people. A little quirky, a little rough around the edges, and chock full of whimsy, but fun nonetheless.
So without further ado, let this post mark the beginning of Fur in my cereal, the blog!
Because when life puts fur in your cereal, it's really best to just toss it out and keep eating. Life's too short to sweat the little things.
